Clay Howard to release new single, “Bottle Down” on September 18 Release date marks the 20th anniversary of singer’s sobriety

"Greensboro, NC, August 21, 2015Long Time North Carolina musician Clay Howard today announced a new single, "Bottle Down," to be released on September 18, 2015.

The date was chosen to mark the 20th anniversary of sobriety for the singer, and the song matches the event.

“I wrote the song as part of a songwriting group I am in. The challenge was to write about an event that changed your life,” said Clay Howard. “My producer, Brynn, and I were working on some other tunes at the same time and he said he wanted to work on a rocker, so out came this little tune called “Bottle Down. Clay continued, "When I realized that the 20th anniversary of my quitting drinking was just around the corner- I thought releasing the song would be a great way to celebrate that event.”

The single will also be a part of Clay's new EP to be released in late Fall/ Winter 2015.

Clay released the 10 song collection entitled, Who the Hell is Clay Howard, in the spring of 2015.The album spent 6 weeks in the Top 15 best sellers in classic rock on Amazon.
