"The City of Greensboro is kicking off its search for a new police chief this week and residents of the City will have the opportunity to weigh-in during the process. There will be a community meeting to discuss important factors involved in selecting a new chief at 6 pm on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum, 134 S. Elm St. Residents who cannot attend the meeting can log online at www.greensboro-nc.gov/chiefsearch and complete an opinion survey about the chief’s search.
The City has retained Developmental Associates LLC to conduct the search. The position will be advertised through mid-December, with candidate screening and assessments scheduled to take place in January and early February. The new chief is scheduled to be selected in mid-February."
