New Winston Museum Best-Selling Author Charlie Lovett on Life Between the Pages

   
"New Winston Museum will host a Salon Series discussion featuring best-selling author and Winston-Salem resident, Charlie Lovett on Thursday, August 28th at 5:30 pm. Please join New Winston Museum for a moderated discussion with Charlie Lovett, author of the New York Times Bestseller, "The Bookman's Tale." Lovett will share insights into his career as a writer and influence of the people and places of Winston-Salem in his life's work. He will also give a brief look into the world of Jane Austen with a reading from his latest novel, "First Impressions." Bookmarks will be on hand with Charlie Lovett books available for purchase.
     This event is part of New Winston Museum’s 2014 Salon Series calendar. The monthly Salon Series features a broad range of local historians, artists, writers, musicians, crafts-folk and other specialists. Speakers discuss aspects of their work and their process to find interpersonal connections with their work and the broader community.  This event is free and open to the public.
